mk908 boot loop
I recently recieved my tronsmart mk908, the v3 version. After 2 days the stick didn't boot anymore. It was stuck at the android logo. After a few reboots with the same result everytime I tried to reflash the official firmware. The result was the same. I tried to flash other available ROMs but the stick gets stuck at the "google tv" or "tronsmart" logo every time. I'm out of options.
So my quesion is, What can I do? Do you guys have an other solution? Other ROMs/firmware? Maybe something with the NAND?Tags: None

Hi there unfortunate fellow V3 owner.
I tried every damn rom/kernel combo and what works are only two:
1. MK908-V3-android-4.2.2-jjhmod-v1.0 and
2. MK908-android.4.2.2.jjhmod.universal.v2.01
you can use kernel from MK908-android.4.2.2.jjhmod.universal.v2.01 rom in stock to make it work ( flash stock 0802_update and then just select kernel in jjhmod's v2.01 flasher).
this kernel will work with finless 1.5 and jjhmod 2.2 universal but has some resolution issues - screen too big for TV to display that cannot be fixed by scaling.
just wanna mention "THANX! Tronsmart..."

Seems to be working

@Bolibo, I'll try the solutions you mentioned. I already tried a few ROM/kernel combinations, not sure if I tried this one before.
I've installed a custom external WIFI-ANT, this seems to up the connection/reception. Also an using an other 5v/2a power supply. Stil not the best thing. Video frames streaming 720 over wifi keeps buffering/lagging now and then. So if there are any improved ROM's based on the 106j2107_4... I would be very interested.
