Yes, you can!

Once rooted you can remove some junk, but do not change the build.prop! It may brick your tablet.
Until now I couldn't get the play store installed.
Maybe you can find a method to do it.
Good luck!

Thank you

You can find it at Amazon for $150, but, IMHO isn't worth it. Any other firmware I had tried on it will result in no touch screen, no WiFi and no speakers.

ptab1050 root and market fyi
8331]As the title readserror.k you! I'll give it a b.[/QUOTE]
Fyi ILooksLike iHave succesfuly rooted and instlled working Android market on my POL Ptab1050.
As described in below post, had downloaded moboromo unlock root, and could access /system/apps but would not allow to change permissions.
Tried other link from electrik and get the unfortunately stopped error when trying market.
Downloaded Android Rootkit tools, used thi to change system permissions to rwrwrw as well as app folder and rootfs mount options. However had to remove a few files in app folder to gain file space.
Copied vending signed file to app folder.
Rebooted but still got error,
Read in anothe post to change the vending name to start with com so changed to com.android.vending-3.1.3-signed.apk
And changed permissions on file.
Rebooted, started market (I ALREAdy have gmail account) and it started up ,browsed, and downloaded an app.
