I have been playing around with Android for a while, and used one or two boxes but I'm far from experienced enough with them.
Yesterday I bought myslef an Android box from Powerbuy in Thailand as it's one of the only places I could find one without ordering online, (wish I had now) , anyway the model is a GMM Z STREAM powered by an Amlogic S905X Quad-Core 64-bit CPU, with a Penta-Core ARM Mali-450@750Mhz GPU, along with 8 GB EMMC FLASH, and 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM.
I would be very greatful if someone could point me in the right direction as to what firmware I could try to use with it, as the stock firmware is garbage, YouTube is bugged and quite a lot of other stuff, so I don't see the point in keeping it stock.
One issue I have is I'm not able to use a computer as I'm in a new place without access at the moment, can it be done via a USB stick ? I've looked the the website for the device but it's in Thai, and also seems to be useless.
I was thinking it might be possible to load Levy's Oreo firmware as it's specs are the same as the Mini MS8 II.
Anyway any kind of advice is very welcome, and I'm happy to be here, hope you're all having a great day.
