MK908 v3 with USB2LAN dongle - connection problems

I gave up on the built in WIFI and bought a USB lan dongle (like this).
For a first day it was just fine but then start to get -no connection errors.
There is still an IP address but no link , not even to a router.
On<>OFF "Ethernet" option- doesn't help - but now the device not getting an IP Address it's all zeros.

I can see on the router that it is trying to provide a ip for the device but nothing happens.
Router's sytem :log

And I do see an active DHCP client with the mac address for the minute while the lease time counting down then it disappear from the list.

I have NEW MK908-android.4.2.2-jjhmod-v2.2 Universal Rom by Hoaby -V3 5.1 720 400 kernel


I really don't know what is the faulty part : the dongle , tv stick or the router but I'm going nuts here.
any help appreciated.

did you allready tried setting a dedicated IP for the stick and dont use the DHCP mode in the stick settings ?

Yes I have. Same same. But I guess the problem is the router as on power off the router does the trick.
