updating stock firmware on mk802+ ????

can anyone tell me how to update/rescue an mk802+ (mk802 with 1 GB)??

i found so many contradicting advice i'm totally lost.

a lot of people talk about downloading it from http://www.rikomagic.co.uk/support.html

but there is no rescue/update for the mk802 or mk802+ only for mk802ii and up??

since mk802ii is almost the same as the initial mk802 i figures using that.

however, a lot of forums talk about flashing with livesuit that supposed to be packed in the download...
yes for the mk802iv there is but for mk802ii there is something else included called phoenixcard.

in the manual it says you should not flash the device it self but use phoenixcard application to burn the image to microsd and then boot device with that microsd card...

however, i dont have windows so i just did a DD to write the img to sdcard

if i boot then nothing happens, just goes to android desktop...

is there a way to flash the mk802 directly with a rom?

if so, where can i find a rom and what program can i flash it with?

    thx!!!!!!

or if someone else knows a solution to a problem concerning installing busybox... looks like it really messed up the filesystem.. seems to be read only or something
