Another RK3399 manufacturer just released Android 9 yesterday, lol.
Maybe Magicsee will skip Android 9 too and go directly to Android Q next year to avoid all the bugs along the way?

MoMan, and whose might that be?
I checked in with M-see yesterday... they didn't even bother to fake a release date, just used the term "when" it's ready you can find it @magicsee.

Please explain how they can be "working" on it for 60 plus days, with -0- results to date?
Any plausible idea will do.

New toy S922X(seems coming from Beelink GT1-K on April) HW seems not bad even very good though!
W'll see whats that!

AMLogic seems to start a new race with RK3399 but for "picture quality" still RK one step forward!

MagicSEE N6 this Box is over!

Note;for "fast actions" S905X2(4Gb/ddr4) a little bit faster than N6/RK3399 or H96 or X99 !!

AML's new S922 4Gb/ddr4 might be a little bit faster then S905X2 !!

A95X my "short term" Box and I'll sale it within couple of weeks! "as usual"

Seems to be the 'coolest' S922 device so far.

Hope it will be cheaper because of the lower RAM.
Will most likely not contain all the firmware bugs of the other S922 devices.

Rockchip already released Android Pie for RK3399 in Jan 2019 and it seems Radxa is also updating to it now.
But yes, it seems only development board companies will update and not the no name manufacturers as they can just release a new device with new chipset and OS and so gain new sales again.

Further, any preview of what you might be able to do with the box using the 7.1 as it is
...forgetting 8"s new problem set,
I'd be happy to see the n6 play nicer with google and some other apps... stop with the roving conflicts.
It's kind of a shame, cuz when it decides to go stabil/ non quitting... IT IS BEASTLY Performer!
