    Buying a X92 TV Box

    Hi
I'm a newbie here and to TV boxes on the whole. Bought one that was really bad (Alfawise). Now I'm looking to buy an X92. It's in my price range and has the specs that I want. The problem is that when I start to really look into them, I see that they are made by different manufacturers. The most I see are Vontar, but I also see OTT, WeChip, and others. Does someone know who the original manufacturers are? Does it make a difference at all who manufactures it? I welcome any and all advice.
    Thank you

      Thank you for your response.
I have a Alfawise H96 Pro+ (CPU: S912 OS: Android 7.1, Ram: 3GB, Rom: 32GB). It was always a bit buggy even right out of the box. It would sometimes suddenly cut out of the movie we are watching, not respond for a few minutes, have trouble playing some movies, not respond to the remote...just overall buggy behavior. Then one day suddenly it just froze on boot. I thought maybe it was updating something so I left it on overnight, but that didn't help. My son tried all sorts of things including reinstalling the OS, but that didn't help either. There seems to be a hardware problem, although like I said, I'm definitely a newbie with these devices and not 100% sure of anything.

        buy a better Powersupply with more , then the stock has , if 2000mah / 2500mah , for sure 3000mah , better

a 3500mah Supply , of course same Volts as before , i think it is 5V ??? and you can add a better Heatsink ,

better a good Fan , many Infos you can find here in the H96Pro+ Threads , many Users are very happy with

there H96Pro+ after they changed some things , good luck , what ever you do ,

Thanks. I have to get it to boot first, then maybe I'll play around with it. Otherwise, to the trash it goes.

These Amlogic boxes are pretty hard to kill. Since you are about to toss it, that is MORE of a reason to tinker with it, you have nothing to loose. It can be a great learning device.

Well, I've installed the Superceleron Rom with the update. I can boot the box, and it's working. The problem is that it's a bit buggy and it freezes here and there. I think that the main reason for this is Google Play Store and Services. They don't work. I get messages pop up every minute or so that say "Google Play Store keeps stopping" or the same thing with Google services. I deleted the cache and data hoping that it would help, but it didn't. I can't sign in or do anything else with Google. Any ideas?
