Trying to stream movies from my computer to my MK808B but doesnt work so good.

Hi,
Trying to stream movies from comp to MK808B but can only stream movies that are like 1,5 gb.
When i try to stream a movie that is like 5 gb it does hack and buffer all time.

I have mx player and full connection to my wifi.

Anyone knows how i can fix this?

Seems like your WIFI connection is too slow for streaming movies that have a high bitrate. I cant't stream 1080p content over WIFI either.

Transfer a file from you pc to the mk808b over WIFI ans see how long it takes.

Also download the neon codec for MXPlayer from Google Play Store.
Change H/W Audio Playback to Software Audio Playback in Video Decoder in Settings.
Also make sure you have a custom rom with libstagefright to enable H/W+ in MXPlayer Settings and play videos in H/W+ mode by clicking on H/W at the top of the screen when video is playing.

To play 5GB+ movies you need at least a 20mpbs connection to your wifi.
Also change your router's wifi channel to a channel higher than 10 for better wifi.
You can download wifi analyser app from Google Play to test your wifi.
There are also other apps that sometimes boost your wifi or stop your wifi going into sleep mode.

You can also try to use the latest XBMC with added advancedsettings.xml to playback movies, since it has buffering support. http://tv.100dola.eu/xbmc/mod/
