    NEO X7 QUESTION

    Hi Guys,

I just received my neo x7 that came with a A2 air mouse remote, overall very impressed by it!

I have tried looking around for a way to fix the problem with the sound always playing through the remote rather than the TV itself and have found online some one saying installing the Nexus ROM from here corrects that for him. I have rooted my phone myself ( granted it took quite alot of trial and error, alongside a great tutorial from a poster on XDA Devs!), however I am confused on how I go about putting the nexus ROM ( the one thats a sticky in this forum )onto the neo x7. Does it require me to root the device and install CWM or TWRP like my phone, or from what I understand the ROM is pre rooted and i need to just flash it onto the neo x7?

I came across one of River's (somecooltech) many great videos showing how to upgrade the firmware, is it the same process as this or is there a way I should be putting the nexus ROM onto the NEO X7?

I also noticed quite a bit of lag on XBMC on the NEO X7 and after some investigation it seems the link below is a possible fix for it, or has anyone else with a similar problem on the X7 had any other solutions to it?

Many thanks for your time to read my chunk of text and I will greatly appreciate any help provided as I am a complete novice when it comes to this!

    NEO X7 QUESTION

All tools and instructions required should be included in the downloaded archive with the rom or in the same forum post the developer attached the download to. You should download it and look in the archive before asking how to flash it in the forum to save yourself time as well as the time of others having to give redundant information.

Thanks for your response. I had already checked inside the downloaded archive without any luck of finding it and was unable to see anything in the developers post about how to install it. I decided to go with another rom that contained detailed information. In regard to time however, if you feel it is wasting your time by having to give information, don't respond to the question and save your time. Perhaps some one is asking the question as they have already looked and were unable to find it. I and many others with little knowledge in the matter searching for the same answer would find the help useful, making the only thing redundant in the matter your attitude.

Well said Bazza, and indeed you ask the question because you don't know where to find the information or what the answer is, not to annoy people!! what a numpty!!

Finless ROM has instruction and Rivers (SomeCoolTech) has a little video about flashing the ROM, but it is for a Pen Drive, but the utility tool used is the same. I like his videos.
