Some random issues with MK802 IV

Anyone experiencing these kind of issues, and secondly is there a fix for these ?

1.Every now and then my screen just goes black for couple seconds and then it comes back. No sound is being played while this is occurring. TV is not showing the input information neither so its not an actual connection issue between stick and TV. I've had this issue from the very beginning.

2.While playing videos with MX player it just quits randomly without any reason.

I have tried with another AC adapter ( 5v 2A ) without luck. Currently using Neomods custom rom with sam's kernel.

This is I think come from your PSU.
Try a PSU with 3A.
Some of them say they have 2A but you will not get 2A. Then the current goes down and you get the failure you say.

I am also having issue number 2. But not number 1. I have new WiFi version with neomode 1.0 and Sams kernel 1080p no oc. But the problem only occurs when playing through my nas. When using USB or ext. SD it plays OK. Netflix does not work for me though. I use WiFi, because the rikomagic usb-ethernet adapter keeps turning om and off and gets very hot.

I was also thinking about this. I not an eletrician expert so i wasnt sure if I can use more powerful adapter. I was afraid that it will burn the stick or something Need to find more powerful adapter somewhere.

Hi, I have the same issue as #1 where video/audio cuts out randomly and screen goes blank for 2 -3 seconds then resumes. I dont have problems with applications crashing though. Even when i am not doing anything or running any apps and just displaying homescreen, this also happens. I tried many roms without overclock and stock ones and issue persists. One interesting thing to note is that when i put the resolution on 480p (lower setting), this problem doesnt happen or not as often. I tested it on that setting for 3 hours and it did not occur. Very weird. I am using a usb power adapter rated for 2A that came with my other rk3066 stick. I wish i had another power supply with higher amps to test. Also, it is not an overheating issue as i installed a heatsink
