My device is detected in Machine.
        I did the following,
        a) RK Batch tool - I clicked switch so the Rose colour connected turned to Blue colour
        b) In RKandroidtool my device is getting detected as "FOUND RKandroid MASKROM ROCK USB"
        c) Clicked Erase NAND in RK Android Tool
        d) Then added the kernel and boot and tried to flash it
        e) I'm getting error message as download IDB failed.

        Please help me out.

Now I'm not even able to boot the device without WIFI too, i think the erase NAND has deleted everything. And my device is empty...

          Hi,
try to reflash stock rom. Set your stick in flashmode by holding the button on your device and connect usb to pc. Hold the switch for about 3-5 sec, then it would regular change into flashmode.

I think it is already in flash mode. It shows blue colour button RK Batch tool, moreover I dont have any button in my mk809 device...

When you have the blue colour, it is good. Flash original stock rom then.

PS.: Okay, I see you have no button at the mk809. Anyway the blue light say, you are connected with pc and IDB has been erased.

Don't flash again the ug802 ROM. If wifi didn't work for you, the hardware is not the same.

                Hi,

I tried it and still i'm getting the same error. Attached is the image of that, I have manually added all the parameter / misc / kernel / boot etc..

I'm able to connect the MK809 to PC as "Found RKandroid MASKROM ROCK USB" in Finless ROM Tool without shorting the PINS 7&8.

I tried with ROM 1.7 / 1.7 Beta 3 -Finless ROM Tool & Factory ROM using RK Batch TOOL, i'm getting as Download IDB failed only.

                  Okay, some questions and advises

                  1. What finless rom do you flash?
2.Please flash at first stock rom to get your device clean restored. This should be, what you need.

                  3. Don't play with the parameter file, if you don't know for sure what you do, because you could brick your device.

                  Good luck.

I have downloaded the rk3066_T002_Launcher2_public_20121119.img from http://www.mk809.com/cs102/en/Download.html and tried to flash using RK batch tool, still I'm getting the Download IDB failed only.

The only success i' getting is the Found RKandroid MASKROM ROCK USB in the Finless tool ...

When you try to flash the single img stock rom, ýou get the idb error message and the light went from blue to red?
Have you tried restore and update flash?
And better change the usb cable for sure.
