Please, easy question regarding Hard Disk Drive

Hi to all,
This is my first message. I'm a newbie in this world of android tvs. I just got the minix7 a few days ago, and it came as a bad surprise that it wouldn't read my 2,5" Toshiba 1Tb HDD. It was NTFS and just in case I formatted it to FAT32, but still the minix wouldn't read it. I'm about to send it back to the seller but asking them they tell me they don't know if their product is able to read HDDs. Would you be so kind as to give me a hand, please?

Got my new X7 today. My 1TB NTFS-formatted 2.5" HDD, which contains all my media files, just works. I'm using the stock PSU.
