neo x7 ugoos 1 rom is it posible?

Hi my x7 is just about to hit my dorstep, and i would like to try to get the best box posible.

I have followd all the treads/roms and it seams most of them have one or to problems.

So i rememberd my old mk802.

Is it posible to flash the x7 with a rom that has simily hardware? I am thinking of the ugoos ut1 it is based on rk3188 has ethernet port and wifi. I now maby wifi/bt/ethernet will not work. But waht about core system?

Any one know if it will work or have tested it?

It will have different WiFi and bt drivers,almost sure. The rest of the system must work I think.

you should try the new finless 1.6 rom with phjanderson's OCed kernels, I recommend you the 720p Cpu 1800 gpu 600 ddr 720 kernel or the 1080p Cpu 1800 gpu 600 ddr 720 kernel (for true 1080p) the Cpu 1800 gpu 600 ddr 720 kernels seem to be the most stable and fastest ones with the finless 1.6 rom (antutu score: from 21000 to 22000).

It shuld not be nesesary to OC the box. It hase the power it needs to run full hd. The ugoos ut1 has support for 4k resolution. If that is a hardware feature i dont know. But wen the slooow ass customs releases my x7 ill give it a try.

Ill try stock first then mix and match using kernels.

Just notised that the ugoos users use the x7 rom :-p so i guess thast rom is not so good

Yea the stock Ugoos UT1 firmware has it's own set of problems, most notibly that it can only output 2.0 stereo sound, so surround sound of any kind is impossible, which makes it pretty much useless as a media player i.m.o.

will try the finless rom next.
