Hi guyz,
I recently bought T95Q but it driving me crazy coz I have occasionally judder / stutter effect when streaming online movies / series from Kodi 16.7.
I figured out, it has something to do with refresh rate / true motion settings in TV options.
Best smooth playback I can achieve is if I set:- TV motion settings to "clear"
- T95Q android settings to 1080p60fps, DNR off
- Kodi video settings - adjust display refresh rate ALWAYS
With settings i described above i have almost smooth playback but every 10 seconds I have micro stutter / judder.
Thank in advance for any ideas.

Curious how does it measure up to other S905X2 boxes? especially beelink gt1 mini.

The x96 max was the first or pretty much, so they would find more bugs, the t95q may only get 2 updates but may include the 4 bugs.
Updates not a thing to use as a benchmark for how Good is it

Well I know that since the launch of the X96 Max, its manufacturer (or reseller) has released about 4 FOTA updates. I question if the T95Q has also been getting as many updates?

As most of the 905x2 are based on a similar Model, so to speak, they all appear to get an update at one stage...

How frequent are the firmware updates for the T95Q? I'm thinking of buying either a X96 Max or the T95Q. I know the X96 has had several firmware updates which is a good sign that the manufacturer is making an effort... but is the T95Q getting regular updates as well? Thanks for any info ...

It's a long shot but anybody using Plex and Emby for Android TV app with this device?
Plex has this weird behavior by always starting movie in bad quality, no matter how I set the quality in the settings.
Emby for Android TV just goes into blank screen after selecting server.

Btw noob question, can I flash the firmware via TWRP? Or should I always use USB burning tool? I don't have USB male to male cable laying around so thought if I can go twrp route.

every custom rom has some issues.
if you dont like the stock launcher just install another one from playstore.
you can also install a navigation and notification bar from the playstore....
My only problem is a few app (Emby for Android TV and Plex) is not working correctly somehow.
Ah yes, I'll install navigation and notification bar, thanks for reminding me.
Cheers.
