if you change to a custom rom the remote definitely doesnt work anymore...

that's a bummer.. not even if I buy those remote with 2,4ghz dongle? have you tried the Nexus ROM? What's not working besides the remote? sorry for the questions, but I'm sure lots of people with this device will appreciate it. Thanks man.

u can try with update app, stock recovery or TWRP recovery. I did it with twrp....
theres no need to delete data or cache...

So I just bought the T95Q, it works ok but I want to have a better experience. What ROM do you guys recommend? The Nexus ROM looks really cool but some people reporting non-working remote.

1. install "Recovery reboot app" (google playstore)

The T95q pretty much the same as others seen so far except for the look of course
Working well, runs a little warmer I find than previous tested units

WiFi and Ethernet good, Easy setup Google accounts, updates plus downloaded and install testers.
Only one app the SD CARD test ran sideways,

Rest pretty good, Remote works ok, and we have the Slow cycle of colour LED around Top
No Upper or lower Bars and has Root access
