    Can you please post me the latest link or thread? I need to do this ASAP. I have spent over 2-3 days trying to figure something out. It sucks I can't enjoy my device.

    edit: i will be using - S905X2.HK1_PRO_AP6330_100M_8.1.2019.01.02.13.58.im g but USB Burning Tool will not accept it. Something is wrong with the key.

    Any other solutions?

    I have Bqeel Android 8.1 TV Box with 4GB RAM 64GB ROM, Y4 MAX Amlogic S905X2 Quad Core ARM Cortex A53, 2.4G/5G WiFi 3D Ultra HD

    I am at the connect to cell phone or tablet page. I am able to find my device and it is connected but it keeps asking for the WIFI password. how many times do i have to do this? also, the device is already connected directly to the internet via ethernet cable. how do i skip the wifi setup process so i can continue with the install process?

    hellfire_my : you can simply start with AMLOGIC CUSTOMIZATION TOOL or the modified one from ricky divjakovski

    The tool is able to unpack/repack..

    i think it's a little more complicated than just explain how to do things because it depends on other factors (cpu, Android versions, filesystem etc etc.), so it will become a cooking class and a very long lesson.
    I simply use linux android fs commands like make_ext4fs etc. etc. then i wrote some scripts and packed to make things faster for my needs.
    But if you do a research on XDA some weeks ago some user was producing a allinone kitchen, in that case if he finished his work you can experiment a little with it.

     <MediaCodec name="OMX.google.h264.decoder" type="video/avc" update="true">
    <Limit name="measured-frame-rate-320x240" range="318-318" />
    <Limit name="measured-frame-rate-720x480" range="115-115" />
    <Limit name="measured-frame-rate-1280x720" range="43-43" />
    <Limit name="measured-frame-rate-1920x1080" range="18-18" />
    </MediaCodec>
    I had understood you were aiming at that, probably more OMX.amlogic.avc.decoder.awesome, no (that's the one used on h264)?. I had no convincing result dealing with few weeks ago but I should look back to it now you confirm it might be a clue

    edit: well I tried a bunch of things (tweak "Limits" or even remove them all in both media_codecs.xml and media_codecs_performance, add a 3840*2160 line, with 1, 2 or 3 modules inserted combinations), it looks nothing has no effect at all! Results I had already got previously actually

    I also assume the "faulty" mh264 is there for a reason (seems to mean multi-h264), maybe used in some scenario I didn't try (multiple streams? PIP or I don't know...) therefore probably not a solution to just ignore it.
    Already tried looots of stuff I don't remember all before reporting, and I thought you'd maybe have some more precise idea. Gotta dig more xml and so on (hoping it's not matter of buggy sourcecode or simply not capable hw!)
    No problem I can test stuff if needed, when you want/can, not waiting after Amlogic to correctly play movies anyway, fortunately
