Thanks a lot for your reply and link! It says in all the reviews of this soc the same. That there are preference for dolby vision to activate if they had a compatible tv. So according to them all those reviewed boxes have that option. If it's true then it's wonderful but i doubt it. Maybe someone who has a box with this soc can confirm if it has an option for dolby vision?

      Thanks in advance

The Tv(if it supports Dolby Vision) will "tell" you that it's dolby vision. If i watch Netflix content or an UHD movie on my UHD player than the tv will show it.

The link to your tv on your manufacturers website will say if it has Dolbyvision.

Samsung tv's don't support Dolbyvision. Samsung created the HDR10+ standard with Panasonic and 20th Century Fox, Samsung wants that to succeed. Amazon prime supports HDR10+ on some of their streaming content, netflix uses Dolbyvision. Not sure what android players if any support HDR10+ though so amazon prime might be the only way to currently use HDR10+.

There are a few Ultra blu-rays available with HDR10+, maybe 3 or 4 but there will be more. There are tons of dolby vision ultra blu-rays available. My Panasonic UHD player supports both, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ but my LG tv only supports Dolby Vision. As far as i know only a few new Panasonic Oled tvs will support both. It's so annoying that there's almost never one universal standard. If i'm right Samsung, Panasonic and 20th Century Fox came with HDR10+ because it will have (almost no costs) for companies to use it. When you want to use Dolby Vision then companies needs to pay a fee to Dolby.
