MECOOL M8S Pro L with Google Assistant

Just to share I have successfully installed the Google Assistant functionality on my two M8S Pro L (LB) boxes from here https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google...d-apk-download/


Just download and install the Apk and when voice is activated from the remote it will take you through the setup.


I have 2 M8S Pro L boxes

An older LB version 3Gb/32Gb model running
NHG47L 20180803.173707.V0213 and

A recent LB version 3Gb/32Gb model running NHG47L 20180913.182655.V0213


Are these the best firmwares to be used on these models? I like the Android TV interface so wouldn?t be interested in installing the phone/tablet type ROMs.


Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

After further testing I have found problems executing Google Assistant routines from the M8S Pro L remote. Anyone else experiencing this?

Any info or help gratefully received.
