Can't flash Unknow device

Hi everyone
im trying to flash a custom img to my box using USB Burning tool 2.0.8

but cant seem to get it to come up on pc
if I hold reset and plug USB in pc recognises u hear the plugged in USB sound but then it disconnects and loads r recovery on the screen. If I load boot loader then Decet butis a unknown device wot am I doing wrong

Hello and Welcome,

So here is the deal how to do it.
First Install USB Burning Tool, this also install the Drivers needed for Flashing.
In some cases the Driver will not be Installed cause this is not a signed Driver.
You have too disable the Drivers Signature check in Windows first and the reinstall it.

Second start USB Burning Tool select the Firmware and press start.
Then press the reset Button and plug in the USB Cable now it should begin to flash the firmware.

That's all.

It could be the driver signature but did do some sort of driver installation would it still do if I did not disabled Driver signature

As far as I can tell you yes it try to install the driver but it will not used if the driver signature is on.
Try the other steps I wrote you to make sure the driver is there.

Disable it but still coming up as Unknow device any more ideas

Ok pulling hair out now got drives to work but still not picking up drivce I even tryed sd card maker nothing is working it is working normally just want to try custom firmware
