Yes, you can use it. I'm using this firmware on mine and it's faster than the stock one.
The only downside I found so far is that I can't use the rockchip app to control the device from a phone anymore, but that's no biggie with a hardware mouse/keyboard.

The latest 2.0.4 beta HFW works fine on Jesurun DX05.
After you flash it the first boot is slow while it is configuring it self.
Also, not every microusb works for flashing, try to use one that came with your newest mobile phone.

On my dx05 2.0.4 beta HFW just fine, 19500 AnTuTu test. The only problem with HD movies via Wi-Fi and some games do not work with mouse USB.

T-R42 - wasser firmware and I think because it is not _2.0 so you have to use old-rev

Do I use the firmware without kernel?

I don't have a box with PCB -> B351_1.0
... but how I understand it, I think you have to use:
- "firmware without kernel for B351_V1.x"
AND
- "1080p/720p kernels for old revision"

BUT I'm not sure and don't ask me, why wasser offers separate download-links instead of one package which includes also the kernel and the firmware (one for old and one for new)???

To be sure, ask at the thread with a reference-link to this post (not the hole thread)...


And it will be nice, if you will give a feedback at this thread...
