H96 Pro+ Serial Port?

Hello guys,

does anyone know if the H96 Pro + has a working serial port?

And if not, is there a way to retrofit a serial port compatible with Android?

I plan to connect the touch screen of my car, which must work via a serial port.

IMO, picking up a used Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 will give you a perfect multi touch screen and stylus to boot! Also with a MHL adapter will provide HDMI output to a remote display and or digital amp, or a using a Samsung Miracast adapter will allow sending AV or just audio to a HDMI device while using the tablet as a head unit. My Note 8.0 not the funky Note 8 phone, allows me to use my tablet for anything i need while sending a movie out to miracast on a remote tv. Like having two devices in one.

Yes its more costly than a used M8S box but when all done up ypu cant beat any setup for the price in the long run. I have my tablet now for 4 years, and once KitKat is obsolete, I will convert over to Linage OS 14 and set it up in my Honda as a Navi Head unit. Not bad for a $150.00 when new tablet.

ps you can turn any device into a tv style settings. Just by editing the build prop to set the device to TV. The settings looks a lot better than stock on a phone or tablet. Which makes customisations look nicer without need to use modded firmware.

here is the build prop line... just change phone or tablet to tv and reboot. Notice a better settings layout over stock on any device.

The thing is, I pay a lot of attention to optics. I need an integrated solution.
Chinese navigation systems are unfortunately not compatible.
So i have to build my own solution.
Btw this is my interior.
And I do not want to stick a tablet somewhere.
