Pipo M6 PRO - vertical lines on screen

    Hi there.

Just received my tablet and overall quite satisfied with it. But one thing is bothering me.

There are faint vertical lines (if held horizontally) with a ~5mm spacing on the screen. These are easily noticeable on a white or gray background. Otherwise not that obvious but still there.

Anyone with an M6 (PRO) that can confirm that they have these? Look closely.. I don't see these from a 50cm+ distance. I'm assuming this "defect" could affect other china tablets with a retina screen..

    Really cool forum BTW

Thanks, that's good to know, sort of.. It means I may have to return mine. Here's a picture where you can barely see the effect:

On this one I have marked the lines with arrows:

Pretty sure that's an LCD panel issue so will most likely need to be replaced

          I definitely agree.
I tested carefully my display and I've not any line at all (luckily).

Thank you for the confirmation guys! I'm trying to resolve this with the supplier now. Really sucks to return the unit all the way to china because of an issue like that though. Everything else works just fine. Typically my luck

              The same problem for me.
Had you any luck replacing the tablet?

Thats's interesting. Thanks for the input. I'm still waiting for a solution. According to supplier it's "normal" behaviour. I'm actually considering a different brand if that turns up to be the case. I am quite detail oriented and these lines would surely drive me nuts in the long run..

Even if the lines are normal behaviour the tablet should cost under 100$.
Thats very bad quality and for this price not acceptable.
And I read on other forums that this is not normal and some people have not these white lines.
The Pro Max version has a very better panel.
The got the good reputation from early reviews and then they changed their quality.
                  Making it very bad.

I hope i can return it. It drives me crazy already.

Giouncino, it is good to know that not every device has this fault.
Can you tell me if your devices are equipped with 3g module? Maybe this occurs only on those.
Can you also tell me if you have an screen protector applied on any device?

I believe that these devices with vertical lines are faulty and hope I get a normal working device.
Except from the screen, everything is working very good. Only 3g module could have a better signal.

My tablet was without 3G. I lifted the screen protector to make sure lines were on the screen itself. They were.

Personally I ditched M6 and went for a much lighter and more compact 8.9 incher of a different brand. That despite the fact that seller was willing to replace the unit. So don't accept lines and similar issues, it's definitely not normal.
