    MK808 Mod

I know I'm a little late to the party but wanted to share what I did. I plan on cleaning the whole thing up over the next couple weeks, but I'm kinda digging the utilitarian look. The heatsink is from the GPU on a xbox 360, the bracket I found in the garage, and was able to use the tapped holes on the heatsink. I reused the old heatsink on the otherside. Just soldered some wires for the wifi, but havnt found an acceptable antenna yet. Wifi performance is working better than before, so there is no real rush.

    OMG. That's a monster!
Looks like you have removed the original heatsink and put it on the ram chips on the other side? I am planing to do the same. How did you remove the heatsink from the chip?

Yes, I used the old heatsink on the ram chips. I just froze the board overnight and lightly pried around the heatsink perimeter and it slowly came off.
