I have a problem with this box. I think it turns the audio off when volume is too low. Example: I watch a movie and everything is ok until a low volume (silent) scene. Then I here a crackling (popping) sound and audio is off. It comes back on with same crackle as soon as volume gets higher. In some scenes, when audio dynamic range is higher, i can hear constant crackling, turning off and on. If audio dynamic range is lower in a video file then everything is ok. I can clearly hear it in android menu too. Before every audio effect for choosing menu icon I can hear that pop. It seems like sound drops out whenever volume output is too low. I have a latest official firmware for the device (Build version: 20181210) with Android 7.1.2 and the box is hooked up to a FullHD TV with HDMI and nothing else. Whatever sound setting I choose (PCM, SPDIF Raw or HDMI Raw) it's always the same. In Kodi, the only way to fix this problem is to amplify the volume of the video file. I have IPTV box on another HDMI input and it never had that problem. I tried other HDMI cable and it is the same. Is there something I can do to fix this?
