Tried to use the same method to update the firmware to Android 10 firmware, can't pass that screen.

Sideload the mobile app Greenify or Killapps, both need a mouse/touchpad to navigate the app, but you can use the app ButtonMapper to program the Greenify HIbernate-shortcut to respond to a key press, example I have the long-press volume_down-key set to activate this shortcut and the Greenify app will force-close all the background apps.

Tried the Greenify app, it's alright but am still having issues on which shortcut to use to close all apps! Apparently on the old km3 firmware by pressing the home button would allow you to close all apps, but this new firmware does not! Any other suggestions are welcome guys!

Try any TV, computer, or game controller remote that you own; as long as you know the correct button sequence to pair those remotes it will work.

Or have you tried installing the AndroidTV-Remote-App to your phone or tablet and when the TV box asks to PAIR that you connect with your phone?

I don't have this problem because I have other non-Amlogic Bluetooth remotes and they have always been able to bypass the "Remote-Pairing" screen.

Hold the Pairing button on the controller for 5 seconds (make sure the batteries aren't dead in the controller).

It's the (volume-) and (ok) sequence that can't figure out on the controller to by pass that screen!

What? The screen says "Press (volume-) and (ok)" --that doesn't not matter, you do not press those buttons on your game controller or any other Bluetooth controller. What matters is you make the controller enter its own pairing mode by the button sequence that the controller was made to respond too. When you see that TV screen to pair you Press the correct button, in your case is the "Pairing" according to the support webpage linked above.

Thanks, I see what you were saying with the pairing button, tried did not work so just decided to stick with the firmware that works!

Btw do we need to reinstall everything back once we've updated to android 10?
