how can I break up pieces of existing firmwares boot,parameters, recovery and build some frankenstien rom and write it to sd card for booting. Many of the tools seem to be for emmc flashing and I could use some links to reading up.
second is it even possible to build a stock android nougat system for a Rock64 that is not a lame "androidTV build"
I heard the guys with fireflys roc-328-cc renegade have a sd image dated mid 2018 and is possibly full android 7.1.2 and Pine64s build is from Dec 2017. The only major dif I see is roc-rk3328-cc has ddr4 and rock64 uses ddr3 AND SO THE FIRMWARES WON'T SWAP EASILY. I do not want to flash emmc modules yet until I get a firmware I want. fIREFLY (LIBRE) has no links to source code and building from scratch may be beyound my abilities although I do pick up easily. I was just hoping try cut and paste a bit at first to see what I could do.
