Has anyone experience with this device? I bought it because it's a great bang for the buck (hardware-wise), however the software is total garbage.
I tried to run Armbian/Libreelec, but it seems like TV Box is completly ignoring the SD card and straightly boots into Android.
Original firmware is available here: http://blog.geekbuying.com/2018/01/a...date-20171221/
The names of some chips are:
- HT1628 CJ751D
- FNLINK 6222B--SRB CO1038
- SEC 628 B041
Furthermore, the TV Box has a "MXQ-RK3328-D4_B VER: 1.1" board and has been manufactured in 2017, so I guess they just want to get rid of it, hence the cheap price. Looks like the board hasn't been designed for this TV BOX, since it offers the possibility to connect a LED display. Maybe it's a clone?
If anyone decides to buy/open this device, be careful with the wifi antennas (?), I just broke mine while opening the device.
