New firmware for G-Box Midnight MX2

    For Info ONLY

    Looks like v1.1.6 is out

    Code:

"You have to use the new XBMC that comes with it. This version has a updated player in it . Your backups of xbmc will not work so plan on doing settings over again. It is well worth it Skype and camera apk work great " .. so they say!

EDIT: having read most of the feedback, this release looks like it should have been labelled "Beta" given the issues. Best to wait for the OTA when it arrives.

I updated mine and it updated fine. However i have tried to reboot and nothing now, looks like some sort of time bomb. Not sure how to get round this at all anyone any ideas can't get in to recovery at all.

Anyone know how to make the new f/w 1.1.16 clone safe? Is there a guide anywhere?
