Possibility of flashing custom images with Amlogic burning tool?

Does anyone know how to flash custom images. I've seen people installing Armbian and LibreElec to their eMMC but they all first into SD card then copies to eMMC.

To burn with Amlogic tool, it seems we need signing key.

Is not being able to obtain signing key is the reason we can't flash via Amlogic burning tool?

Hello,

When we do make a Custom Rom for AML we use the Image format.
No need for a Key.
Just a tool to make the Img for Burning.
Inside are all needed images for the Box.
