Today we can have a bit of a look at the Q96 mini Amlogic 905w thanks to Gearbest
Cheap and hopefully cheery, should be able to cover the Basics pretty easy,
We know the 905w is not a power house, has its uses.
Can do most for the price you pay.

To Continue on with this Little box of Joy, let's look closer at the Q96 mini Amlogic 905w and again thanks to Gearbest
Power on and startup all Good,
Not expecting to much POWER or HI PERFORMANCE being a S905W, as mentioned should do what it has to do.
As most other Amlogic 905w are doing pretty well, with a custom Rom may be better.

Running Android 7.1.2 a smooth start.
UI and feel pretty snappy for the 905W, and bit of a different UI running 720 helps
All look pretty much the same after awhile these UI

Connection to Google all good, updated installed testers ok
WiFi and Ethernet Usable, no major hassles

Most of the following test pretty much the same with previous 905w tested:
It's been awhile since I have done a 905W, look and feel is ok and no weird stuff

Kodi should have no worries with the basic Playback and features lots of talk about what Kodi can and can't do.

Keep an eye out these little boxes can go for cheap and if you need a basic second Media player, has to be the way to go.

I mentioned a custom Rom may improve things but this one I think is smooth enough not to require it
I feel this is a good little bit of firmware, the hardware is ok Faster ram etc would be good but that ups the price.
Its pretty Cheap, should get cheaper, Basic Player for your needs,
