If someone want to help please test how the firmware is working for you,
share your findings and ideas, it dousnt metter its good or bad,
as its still help

xbmc internall player with dts/dolby/analog sound support
new folder on root of sdcard:
-justXBMC
*plugin
*update (update folder will be used for some minor updates to the firmware)
-ouya mode will be now a plugin and will be not provided with the firmware

-better mappings for xbox wirless gamepad (supports more games)

-real 1080p kernel (for compatybility with some tv res is downscaled to 720, can be changed in settings)
-all apps deleted (only settings, es explorer, browser, download provider andcontacts are left)
-android settings and apps can be accesed by going to programs>android apps from within xbmc
-changed bootanimation to justXBMC
-latest ouya xbmc with HW moded by lewy20041:

OUYA mode:
-OUYA Bootanimation
-OUYA Keyboard
-OUYA Launcher with working OUYA Market (OUYA Custom Launcher is made by InvaderGames from OUYA forums so all credits go to him for this )


many ouya games are working nice with xbox360 controler.
you will be abble to switch betwen OUYA mode and justXBMC by going to settings>advanced>swich mode

(This mode is only for people with xbox controler, to provide plug&play gameing experience, if you dont have it do not swich modes)

ouya mode dont harm justXBMC its just something like plugin:"



i will provide you with stock app folder so anyone will be able to add any funcionality he/she wants by placing needed app into /system/app folder and changing permisions to
"644" "rw- r-- r--"
more changes will folow.


First boot will be longer than usual as many files must be seted up
so just go get some cofe and wait untill xbmc will start
all boot ups after that will take much lower time but its still wont be
super fast, its like this on purpose to make sure that sdcard
is mounted and system is fully functional.

but you will louse wifi and bt.
to make it fuly funcional on t428 it need to have all modules and kernel replaced.
i anyone will be traying to port it be sure that you are using originall boot.img and not the only system.img as its realy important.

I have 2 questions:

-Did you make any modifications in the HW Acceleration code of the XBMC to be optimized
For RK3188 devices ?

-Will the xbox wirless gamepad support be in games only or manipulating video player
As well ?

1. no but xbmc for ouya have some fixes allready and moust hd 1080p/720p play well.
i added external player support and hw for rockchip in advancedsettings.xml wich is activated by default now.
2. you can youse xbox wirless gamepad in xbmc without problem but in xbmc only dpad for navigateing.

-How can you base your version on ouya while it uses a different chipset (tegra 3) ?
-Using the xbox360 wirless gamepad you said only dpad for navigating
but will i be able to control volume and seek with thumbsticks ?
In short the xbmc for windows has a complete mapping for xbox wirless gamepad
Will it be the same in your android build ?

ouya hardware accel use libstagefright.so thats why we can use it on rk3188/rk3066 devices.
as of game pad, seeking will work but volume for now no, but by editing .kl file i probably can mapp lets sey l1/r1 to volume
but than it will mess up some games:"

I have bought my MK908 v3 to use my external hdd drive with XBMC. And i think too many user bought it for XBMC.

So this is great idea!

I already bought an additional xbox360 game pad receiver for this as i already had 3 xbox360
Game pads but only one receiver.
