Well, with the MadCatz MOJO out I think it will be really hard for Minix and other "high-end" Android MiniPC to keep up. MOJO has 1.8Ghz Tegra 4, Android 4.2.2 (stock) and a bundled gamepad.
Only lowcost Android MiniPCs will still be bought (and supported by the community).

It will handle every content you throw at it without custom roms or OC kernels, tho. You pay so much money for a Tegra4 (at least the biggest slice) and a gamepad.
What I was trying to say is that devices like the Minix X7, which are trying to be in the "high" end of the MiniPC market will have a very little market share. MiniPC under 80€ will be the major target.

For a complete multimedia station with the Minix you have to buy the device itself, airmouse and a gamepad (or re-use what you already have, but it doesn't matter). With the MOJO you have a complete station in those 249,99€.

For my Minix X7 i spent recently about 160€ (geekbuying):
          - Minix itself
          - Airmouse (which is bugged and shuts off the Minix randomly)
          - Express shipping
          - Import taxes

On a second order about 80€ (geekbuying):
          - 2x G910 Gamepads
          - A second, more expensive, airmouse
          - Express shipping
          - Import taxes

          Do the math.

It's not stock Android, for istance.
No Play Store (you can install it, with some hacking).
                  It's laggy.
                  Well, it sucks bad.
