imito QX1 on reboot wifi issue.

After several time investigating, working in kernel sources, trying to contact imito, ... wasting a lot of time. I found some documentation (rtl8189es datasheet)that can be the origin of the problem.
    Uploaded to http://www.freak-tab.de/leolas/RTL81...3_20120427.pdf

In page nº17 you can read:
"T33ramp’: The 3.3V power pre-charge ramp up duration before formal power up. It is recommended that a 3.3V power on and then power off sequence is executed by host controller before the formal power on sequence. This procedure can eliminate the host card detection issue when power ramp up duration is too long or the system warm reboot failure issue."

Seems that this chip need a pre-charge power up ramp before a formal power on, solve it is definitely out of my possibilities, so only can wait for a imito solution (I loosed all hope on it) or learn to live with this issue, the bad, we cant make wifi work in any linux distro installed in a sdcard (we have the same problem because we need to boot in recovery to boot the linux kernel).

I will sent this info to imito too, but I fear that they will not answer, like they will not answer to my other mails We got a bugged stick, I am very disappointed with imito, deception is the word.

    QX1

    Hi Leolas
I read the same document and came to the same conclusion that this is the root cause of the rtl89189es not working after a soft reboot. It sounds like it should be fixable in software. However this outside my knowledge range. Hopefully there are some clever people out there that can resolve this.
I did a compare on DMESG between a normal boot and a reboot and it does say that a soft boot flag has been set. Maybe this flag could be flipped to see if the wifii start properly then.
So if we cannot use reboot to recovery can we get Picunto to work by flashing it to nand. (I am not really interested in dual boot system)

I will try picuntu soon, but I have not usb to Ethernet adaptet yet. And I want make wifi work in linux.
I hope to have some free time to test it more deeply.
