before i buy the minix x5

I want to buy the minix neo x5 ,now i have the uhost2 stick that i love but he dont have a optic audio output (5.1)...
I want to buy the x5 becuse he have optic output..bur i read on the internet that he dont give 5.1 thats true? Or minix fixed this problem?

Also how xbmc run on the xbmc?

the xbmc on my minix is shitty, i can only watch one hour of stream before it cuts off

I am running the Ouya version on my x5 and it's definitely the best I've used all year...gotta be honest. I just take the audio from the optical out on my tv into my pro logic system. This works well for me and means I only have one wire going into my audio system...instead of 4-5...
