Definitely, sites such as wiziwig and livetv have loads of sopcast links, but StreamTorrent, TorrentStream and AceStream are dominating and have no Android clients.

i could never get XBMC to play even sopcast links

Some ISP's such as EE/Orange in the UK throttle/disable P2P on their networks in the evenings during the week, afternoon and evenings on the weekends so sopcast and acestream.

Just use streamtvbox.com guys. 10.99 Sterling or around 13 Euros. I watch all my sports from there. you can watch either on PC or android as there is an application, or through their xbmc addon.
13 euros a month and saves you from all trouble. there are hd channels aswell!

yes but if you want stable and good quality links i dont believe that 13 Euros is such a big price. Depends on what someone enjoys. I don't enjoy sportsdevil and other bad quality streams. For some is watchable, for others it is not. I'd rather pay 40 cents a day and have good quality sports streams.
