My guess it it will be the latest version "B" version chip or newer if there is already a newer hardware revision out. Seems like Gearbest puts on these promos to sell the merchandise they ordered from manufacturer but yet don't have phiysically in-stock yet, as a way to Presale the merchandise quickly and gauge whether they order more units. That being said, both the Ugoos devices look like better devices to get, either the small S905x2 or the S922x box.

From what little documentation there is in English posted on the Amlogic chipsets, this is what I interpret:

A311D chip is geared for: low-level computing server work, SBC development boards, or as high-powered ARM chip LinuxOS/ChromeOS machines. Khadas VIM3 fits in this scheme as a development board with this A311D chipset.

and the,

S922X is for basic Android OS and TV boxes, more inline with the rest of the S-series chipsets from Amlogic.

So I don't expect the Beelink to adopt the A311D and they will probably stay on the developmental path of the S922X chip for their tv boxes. Hopefully more manufacturers will start releasing S922X tv boxes like Ugoos just did. If no more manufacturers jump on board with the S922X it won't look good for its survival long-term.
