I have a GPD G7A Android game tablet and it has the dreaded Rk3188-T 1.4ghz locked SOC chip. I want to force the kernel to allow me a full overclock of 1.6ghz or maybe 1.8ghz if stable. I have the BOOT.IMG extracted and the SYSTEM.IMG extracted in source files. Where can I change the MAX CPU freq from 1400mhz to a custom value in the kernel?
I am new at this but any help would be great. The GPD G7A is a good device and having it fully overclocked would be a dream come true.
