Thanks to the Happy Lot and Beelink we can have a close look at the X series Intel Mini PC
Handy unit for all kinds of daily work, office or kids homework etc.
Can install Linux as seen with other Beelink Mini PC.

Get it all back together and run a few test more soon....

Beelink has got this OBE pretty well sorted with these newer MINI PC
Does as is should with ease and all working well.

Windows Update:
About 10 minutes to do the First Part windows update
Then a few more updates another 10 minutes or so
SO that's 1809 all updated, ready to go


Now to get to the next level 1903
Easiest way download the update tool


Then Run it:


It will do its thing, download, another restart and we are ready to Rock and Roll,
No need to go to 1903 build if you don't wish.
But I am a firm believer if its there to be used then DO IT

Net working well this evening 10 or so minutes mostly done


But in saying that took a bit for the full update to be completed, but all happened and all good so far

After all the Updates about 30GB of Old windows and stuff


Not that it needs to be removed yet but a clean drive is a healthy drive

I received my Beelink Gemini X55 a few weeks ago, but was too sick with pneumonia to even test it. Finally ran it thru it paces a couple of days ago and am very impressed. It does stuff that my older desktop can't even do. This miniPC plays every video (including VC-1 codec) and audio codec that I could toss at it. It evens pays HEVC (4k) videos at 60fps, which my older powerful desktop can't even do.

For the average user, this is a perfect computer, small and powerful. It can do web surfing, email and casual gaming. With it's small size, it can be mounted onto the back of the monitor or mounted on the wall...... Also, low power consumption is a biggie with me, at only 24 watts max, saves the environment AND my wallet.
