RK3229 RTL8703bs - Prepare IDB Fail

Hi, i'm new to the forum! i've been going through the forum in search of my problem but i can't seem to figure out what i did wrong.

My device is officially sold as Infinite Box in my country (bootleg company who's gone missing since 2017). Anyways, I opened it up and found out what i believe is a rebadged Tanix TX2 R2.



Specs:
RK3229 2GB/16GB
RTL8703bs Wifi Chipset
Android 6.0 - (I think they installed custom rom since the bootlogo is Infinite Box's logo)



Support Tools Used:
AndroidTool 2.38
FactoryTool 1.6
Rockchip Batch Tool 1.8
Rockchip Driver Assistant 4.4

My problem:
I always get Prepare IDB Fail error no matter what FW i tried, using whichever support tools stated above.

The FWs i tried are:

- I didn't go through the short the NAN method since whenever i plugged my box to my pc, it's always detected in MASKROM mode.
- On AndroidTool, i did try to load the FW, then erase Flash. But it failed and said Prepare IDB Fail.

My request/question:
Help me! I don't know what i did wrong. Is there something i'm missing? Thank you in advance

You also need to know if your device uses nand or emmc and if it's really a rk3229 or a cheap rk3228 instead. by removing the heatsink.
Most likely, you won't find the correct firmware as it was already discontinued by the factory that produced it 3 years ago and they never released the firmware.
You can still use it as a cheap LibreELEC media player by trying one of the images in the LibreELEC forum that was recently released for rk3229 devices.

I had the same problem !!! i understood that what i had to do was at first "Erase Flash" from android tool 2.39. and then you do "upgrade" and every firmware for rk322x will work.
Attention, some firmware may restart or bootloop your device.
