WiFi issue GT1 Ultimate G912 LTM8830

Hi everyone

I've been lurking for a while trying to find a fix if there is one.

I have this GT1 Ultimate box S/N G912 with LTM8830.

I have always used it connected through ethernet but I just moved and now I have to use the WiFi.

I have a good connection and I am able to get 100Mb/s down and 50 up on any device in the house but the GT1 barely gets 10.

To my knowledge this is a known issue but I haven't been able to find a fix. Is there one? Could I fix this with a custom rom.
