I hear limited products are allowed out of China at the moment so is it a bad idea ordering from there.

Usually takes 3-4 weeks when i use gearbest is that likely to be extended even further.

the best would be to ask , where you want to buy it , if possible , how urgent do you need it ,

I ordered some stuff from Banggood. First order placed on Feb01, delivered on Feb17. Second order placed on Feb04, delivered on Feb28. All came from China. If possible, insure package and get tracking.
I would not assume all orders will go like that, as I am sure it may vary widely. You may want to shop local warehouses of an etailer if possible.

Personally, I refrain my self from online purchases at the moment..However, if it is essential to buy something it's better to use your item after disinfection for further security

Depending on what your buying, if it's a Android TV box check out Amazon, I bought a TV stick from them got it in a few days, the prices are a little higher.

My experience......... China shipping is fine, USA is the bottle neck........ Ordered a box from Aliexpress on March 18, arrived on the US soil on March 23, still siting in some warehouse somewhere.............

During normal times, the US has always been the bottle neck, never China.

I also think that it is better for now to refrain from ordering parcels from China. In addition, there are many reliable and trusted online stores closer, with a good selection of goods. For example, I recently ordered myself here https://www.joom.com/en/best/germany an original T-shirt with German symbols. The quality is excellent and the package arrived on time.
