    Linux STB use

I have a lot of Linux Set top boxes that got from a warehouse sale. They are all new in box. These are linux set top boxes with an firmware that is not useable. There are two version of the box, one of them has a STi Liege chipset and the other has a Liege STiH207 chipset.

I want to know if i will be able to use this hardware boxes and load any other OS (Linux or Android) to make it useable?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

iWedia has announced that it is offering Linux-based Teatro-3.0 STB software for STMicroelectronics’ Liege family of chipsets (STiH2xx) for connected H.264 STBs, and that it will be giving away a box manufactured by RT-RK for evaluation.
