    Fixing the Arnova 8G2 4gig

    I believe I know what is keeping all the Arnova 8G2 8GB ROMs from working on the 8G2 4GB tablets.

    But I need someone with a 8G2 4GB "working" tablet to copy some files off it for me. A semi root using z4root etc should give you enough permissions to copy the files I need. You may even be able to do it using Root Explorer without root.

    If you have this model of the 8G2, please post here and we will see if we can solve the issue. I am pretty sure it has to do with NAND paging and bottoms up vs tops down structure. I just need tome files from a working tab to inspect!

      I now have a stock 4gb 8G2 ROM.

          No the capacitive screen version. I already have the resistive version ROM.
