    Which emmc is this

I have a tv box which has an emmc chip which carries the Micron logo, but under that logo is another logo visible, with which I'm familiar but think is not from Micron.

If someone could point me to the company that uses the logo underneath the Micron logo and why this chip carries 2 logos.

This is the chip in my box

If my picture or question is not clear, this is the logo of the company I try to find out about

      Is this any decent stuff?

Yes it is decent for a TV box. The chip is your Ram not your eMMC, you can decode the chip with Micron website, use the second line of number/letters next to logo to decode what FBGA chip you have on the Micron site.

Thanks for the info, I was of the impression that the eMMC had the Ram and Rom in 1 chip.

So if you look at the below picture I presume the eMMC is on the left then? This picture is taken from Trebor's review of the box, and I think it's a Samsung chip.

With my boxes that chip is either Biwin or Foresee, which I guess is some substandard stuff. You probably can fill me in on that one.

Yes, that board has the Nand/eMMC on the left with the two rows of pins next to it, and the Ram chip is covered with the sticker which says DDR3_LC.

For the price point (sale price) that TVbox sell at, yes, the best chips to have are Samsung, but they are still very close in performance to the other chips manufactures like Micron, SKhynix, and Foresee. You can't upgrade to more expensive chips without the TVbox becoming unreasonably priced. The thing to know is that the S912 supports DDR4 and if your device came with any other type of ram then you will not have the maximum performance available to that chip that it could have had if you got the same chip from a different manufacture like Beelink who used DDR4 for their S912 devices.

Like this picture here it is obvious the Ram chip is Micron but can't see the number to decoded what it is, but with the LC designation I am of the belief that it is DDR3L which is the less expensive variant of the Micron DDR3 Ram chips. So for that board in picture the OEM gave a good Samsung Nand chip (slightly more expensive) and cut costs with lower spec Ram chips.

              D9SSK

              PB038-107 BT

I have other boxes that have the Micron chip, but without the Spectek symbol, but they don't have that PB038-107 BT line

In the picture you attach it indicates that it should also be possible to determine the grade, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

In the boxes that have the chip with the Micron logo only, there is no PB038-107 BT line. Any idea why that is?

Grade mark is only (if present) written on the chip.

Your chip also has Micron markings (7HB47 D9SSK), but we can see that's rebranded chip.
