    Looking for recommendations

    I know nvidia shield is supposed to be the best box for streaming but i have a few questions.
    what do you look for hardware wise? Gpu cpu mem?
    Is mali a good Gpu if so what size g31, g51 ect?
    what chipsets are best?
    last what maker. Sunvell, ect?
    i am looking into a magicsee n6 plus
    CPU: Amlogic S922X Quad core ARM Cortex-A73+Dual core ARM Cortex-A53
    GPU: Arm Mali TM-G52 MP6 ( 6EE )
    System OS: Android 9.0
    RAM Type: DDR4
    RAM: 4GB
    ROM: 128GB / 64GB / 32GB
    Wi-Fi: 2.4GHz / 5GHz, IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac, 2 x 2 MIMO
    BT: 4.1
    Ethernet: 1000Mbps
    is this a good choice?
    Thanks for the help

    WIsh i knew also

    l thought the GPU and CPU were separate in the boxes but it appears that the CPU and GPU are all in the same chip.

    I have both the Shield pro and the tv tube, compared to the other boxes when you look at specs and the benchmarks the Nvidia units are the best bang for the buck also.

    I bought a few of the chinese boxes but i just want to use em to learn the android system and try other roms and stuff keep the nvidia stuff untouched.

    OF all the units i have the Nvidia and amazon units are the most stable, they are harder to sideload stuff on but as far as crashing or issues with booting those are the most stable they always work.

    I dont have any of the higher end chinese boxes though. Once i started comparing prices i figured why spend $150-$200. on the higher end chinese box when the shields were the same price and better?

    I got my first shield 2019 0r 2020 model for 180 and the tube i got for 130

    Im wanting the Khadas but cant decide which one to get

      That Magicsee_N6_Plus looks like a good choice, is it better than NvidiaShield for raw gaming performance? -- NO. Is it equal to Beelink GT King then Yes;
      good cpu S922x, currently the Amlogic S922x is the best for a TVbox, Amazon even uses it in their FireTV Cube(Gen2);
      at least 4GB ram is almost a necessity for multi-tasking and gaming, but 2GB is plenty of Ram just for Media Streaming or Kodi;
      Mali GPU is good and the bigger the number the better so G52 is better than G31;
      Sunvell is a decent maker, currently haven't seen any New TVbox from that brand,
      a couple YouTube test/review videos of the N6_Plus are available to watch, see for yourself if you like it or not.

      Everybody is different on what they need from an Android-TVbox, the most important things to me is does the device have ROOT access and alternative software support like CoreELEC/LibreELEC.

          I got one of the second gen fire cubes and it wouldnt play Asphalt 8, some one said because of the chip it wasnt supported.

          Do you know if the S922X works with it now?

          When i first got it, the app was on their app store just before i sent them back ( i got 2 thinking the first one had an issue) they removed the app from the app store just for the second gen cube.
