Beelink GT King vs Nvidia Shield TV 2019 vs Formuler Z8 vs Ugoos AM6

    Hi everyone,

I have a question for those who know a bit about tv box.

Do you think the 2019 Nvidia Shield TV, the Formuler Z8, the Beelink GT King and the Ugoos AM6 are equivalent in IPTV?

Or is the Formuler Z8 much better than the others for that?

And which IPTV application is best for these TV boxes?

    thank you so much

Its not all about Spec and its a good job because the z8 is beaten by all the others you mention.

The MyTVonline app on the Z8 is were it is better than the rest, there are some good apps about Implayer kind of a copy of the Mytvonline app that has progressed further however its no where near as reliable when it come to recording IPTV , MyTvonline beats it hands down.

Then you have TVimate very polished player but no recording ability. IPTVExtreme aint to bad for a player and recording but again nothing much get close to MTvOnline app exclusive to the Z8

TiviMate does support recording since 3 versions ago.
You also get Televizo and OTT Navigator for IPTV which works well.

MyTVonline app is just software, are you willing to pay over $100 for the Formuler_Z8 for having special access to one app? Last time I checked the Z8 came with a base OS that is Android 7 Nougat, and when I research the internal parts it is only a $40 TVbox where people are paying a premium for the built-in app service, making IPTV sellers extra money selling an over-priced box to uneducated shoppers.

You asked about 4 different devices, if considering an NvidiaShield or Ugoos AM6 then the other 2 devices don't even deserve to be mentioned.

There is several different IPTV apps straight from the Google Play Store that are full featured, better to support your app developers with buying their apps then a Vendor(Formuler) who is selling a device for twice the amought of money that it is worth.

Yes I see, thanks for the answer.

Another question in relation to Ugoos I do not know this brand. Do devices decode dolby atmos, DTS-X and true HD like Shield TV 2019?

Ugoos newest device AM6 Plus is suppose to natively have the audio codecs licenses, with the newest chip model S922XJ , even if it doesn't fully decode natively you can use pass-through and send the audio codecs through to a 5.1 Surround Sound system.

Nothing i havn't tried and i stand by what i say nothing equals the reliability of recording IPTV than Mytvonline2, from my own personal point of view im more than willing to pay a premium for a low spec box i know will have my recording sat there after coming home from my night shift.

I don't think they sell the box to non-expert buyers but rather to buyers who want the best for IPTV and according to user feedback it's much better than the others devices in this area.

Again, if You want the best for IPTV? An NvidiaShield or Ugoos device will Play, Record, and render IPTV perfectly.

If you are a NOOB and can't understand how to use Android and fiddle with settings, then buy a Formuler or BuzzTV or any other specialized IPTV player device that is extremely Over-Priced.

Ultimately it is your money, do what you want with it, buy whatever device meets your criteria of acceptable. I'm just offering my opinion and answers to your original question. From all that I know about TVboxes, Android, and Formuler; I would personally never buy a Formuler device or even recommend them to a family member to use.

In general, the Shield is still that standard by which all others are judged.

So if the features of the Shield match your requirements and within your budget, then I would say look no further.

It has mass appeal, including a huge support base, longer term support from a global manufacturer and hardware wise is still head and shoulders above the rest and seemingly lasts a very long time.
