Custom cases?

On the fan, i just use a smart power supply that i can shut each plug on and off with my phone app. I have to many boxes to leave them plugged in some remotes with other boxes so if i leave them plugged in i turn boxes on im not wanting on

Here are some other images i took with my camera instead of my phone, i dont think you can see any better details but the images look sharper

Also i made 2 plates for T95Q today but its not fully finished, i eed to order a fan and glue the heatsinks on the chips.

Im saving 2 yellow sheets for last, i might do the CSA96 with the yellow? or buy a the Rockchip RK3399 box and make a case for it?

i found on the Bay round plates with Colour 13*13 , fluorescent , think this is a nice option for PCBs too ,

so the ports are a little bit inside , if i buy , i can make a similar Mod for my X99 , but already works well

with my Fan mod , if i buy a new Box maybe then ,

mine is only 4.5" around i use 5.9" acrylic sheet and cut with dremel to circle

if you copy # 273929519680 and put in bay search you can see sheets of acrylic i buy

oh that is the same that i ordered, mine were not "Round" though

I ordered 15X15 CM but i think if you order 10X20 you can make top and bottom with one sheet

Found some little blower style fans on Amazon so i finished my T95Q box/disk unit.

Then decided the fans worked good enough to use on my CSA96 so i built a little case for it with the 2 green sheets i had left.

So left to right: CSA96, u2c X-Turbo, X96+, T95Q



They all have fans, the CSA96 has a bottom mounted fan like the X96 so those are on the underside. The u2C and T95Q are both mounted on the top

The T95Q has the same blower style fan as the CSA96

These were kinda fun to make, i ordered a couple more sheets i have a couple other boxes im gona do the same thing to them. They seem to stay a little cooler this way rather then all confined in the stock boxes they came with. The fans arnt as noisy for some reason and they seem to move more air if you can believe that.

Another thing i did was since the u2c and the X96 have a display the front panel are REALLY bright without being in the case so i used a black sharpie and blacked out the front panel, its made the display dimmer and they are now just as bright as they are behind the front panel on the stock case.

That is the CSA96 RK3399

I wish there was a android 10 firmware for it, there is one over on the Khadas site for the RK3399 and i went from 109k with the older firmware to android 10 and it jumped to 130K!

Even though the version i have on it i got 120K out of that box
