    [ROM] Timing Power RK3188 Custom

This is just an initial ROM for a project i'm starting with this device. This is the stock rom but cleaned up and tweaked a little. Removed all the junk from the rom and replaced the keyboards with Null Keyboard. Added a few apps for convenience. Keep an eye out, I will be updating frequently. Requests are welcome. Thanks for looking.

    ADDED:

    AdAway
    ES File Explorer
    Reboot App
    Writer

Just flash with rockchip batch tool and enjoy!

    Hi mate,

Cand you give more information about the ROM?
    which Kernel is used?
    Resolution (720p or 1080p?)

I wish every success for your project

It's the stock kernel. This is just a slimmed down stock rom that was rooted and added a few apps for better function. If anyone else has this device and would give me suggestions on what they'd like to see, i'd happily help.

Hoping the author of this thread is still around, but I'm wondering if it might be possible to add the vsync frame dropping fix that most other Rk3188 devices got last year?

I recently got to play with one of these, and it might be perfect for a Lapdock device except for two things.

        1) The frame skipping issue that plagued all Rk3188 devices at launch, is still at play here. If you have a video scene with a slow pan, the output will be very jittery and choppy. I have dual core devices that play video better.

        2) The headphone port is great, and not too noisy. But when you use it, hdmi audio is still enabled. So you can get audio interference or you have to kill the volume on your monitor. If the monitor has no volume control you're out of luck.

Is it possible these 2 issues can be fixed via custom rom?
