How do I install CWM on UG007-II (official 4.2.2 Jellybean)

Hello everyone~!

This is my first Android TV stick and I'm seeking your help.

I want to install CWM on my UG007-II and so far I have been unsuccessful.

When I first purchased my UG007-II, it had Android v4.1.1 on it. I rooted it successfully using the TPSarky-VonDroid-Root method. I then successfully installed CWM by downloading the UG007 CWM zip file, placing it at the root of my microSD card, and just booting up the stick. When asked to install the update, I clicked yes. The stick rebooted automatically into CWM, I made my Nandroid, rebooted back into the Homescreen, and all was well.

Just 2 days ago, I flashed the UG007-II with the official UGOOS v4.2.2. Jellybean update.

I rooted it just fine using the TPSarky method but I was NOT able to install CWM the same way.

Once I install the CWM zip file, the stick will reboot automatically into CWM but I can't create any Nandroids and when I reboot the stick, it doesn't go to the Homescreen anymore. It just keeps rebooting back into CWM.

To fix this issue, I had to flash the v4.2.2 update file again.

Any suggestions/help/links?

Well, I made some progress. I was finally able to install CWM using the flash tool instead of the update.zip method (I used the UG007 CWM image file).

I'm able to enter into CWM but I can't create any Nandroids. Things aren't getting mounted/recognized correctly. Does anyone know where I can download a newer version of CWM that supports 4.2.2 correctly so I can create Nandroids again?

Well, I made some progress. I was finally able to install CWM using the flash tool instead of the update.zip method (I used the UG007 CWM image file).

Can you give me a Link to your stock recovery or atock Rom?

Don't worry, I will download it and make a cwm for your device, almost sure that mounts points are different.
Using this Rom, is all working for you? Sdcard, extrrnal sd, wifi, etc...?

Yes, everything works. WiFi is better than the stock 4.1.1, UI is smoother and faster, and it's also more stable.

One downside is that some apps won't install thru the Play Store, saying my device isn't supported (e.g., AirDroid, Chronus widget, Speedtest). So I just sideloaded those.

Ok this helps a lot, try to format cache partition from cwm in mount and storage, and you need to flash the misc.img from your stock rom. I will extract it.

In mount and storage choose format cache to solve cache errors.

I extracted your stock recovery and got your misc.img, unzip it and try to flash it using the flash_image binary with

flash_image misc /path/to/misc.img

If this dont work you can try to use this cwm. Flash it usinf flash_image bin, I cant test it because I dont have your device, so be sure that you know how restore your rom if something goes bad.

The CWM you made for me, can I flash it using RKBatchtool + ROM Flash Tool instead of using flash_bin?

Where can I go to download the flash_bin file?
