Any ways to spoof Wifi / 3G status

Been playing with a couple of video streaming apps. Some apps seems to give problem with Ethernet Adapter. E.g. BBC iPlayer and MyTVB apps. BBC iPlayer will refuse to go online with just ethernet ,so I had to switch to Wireless.

There is an app called Privacy Blocker that can spoof information to your apps. Maybe it can also spoof a wifi connection.
